There’s Pride, and then there’s Panther Pride!
Did you know Klein Oak is the only
high school with a PTO? The administration, faculty and parents take great
pride in that fact. With no special interest focus, the PTO Board and
members focus on the entire KO community.
As you read this you are probably saying “I don’t have the time” or “My teenager doesn’t want me to see me at their school”. The reality is it takes very little time to get involved in supporting your school. Providing baked goods as needed, participating in a fundraiser, or simply sharing an idea on how to make our PTO more successful are ways to get involved. It can be as easy as doing your weekly shopping. The Neighbor to Neighbor Program and the Good Neighbor Program (Randall’s – 6923) donate a percent of their proceeds based on providing the bolded number at check out.
